Appearance & Construction: Not a “pretty” cigar.  Lacks oil, rich color, and is rough to the touch.  What it lacks in aesthetics it more than makes up for with construction.  The draw on the dominante is what every cigar should aspire for, not too loose, not too tight.  It’s just right, and persisted right through the last puff.  The burn was very even, and I didn’t have to touch up until the last third.

Pre-Light: Great draw.   Lacks any dominant flavor notes.

Flavor & Notes: Slightly complex with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg with coffee and variations altering.  The cigar has a hint of sweetness, like a dark chocolate.  One third of the way and the strength of the flavors have subsided slightly.  The flavors haven’t changed, just mellowed.  Throughout the duration of the smoke, the flavors continued to diminish with the last third of the cigar flattening out.

Body: Medium body.  Slightly harsh, but not in a bad way.  It’ll make you feel like a man.

Overall Smoking Experience:   A perfect cigar for when you want to relax.  It’s really hassle-free, as the burn and draw are both perfect.  I didn’t need to touch it up until the very end, and while deeper, more complex flavors would be nice, it’s probably more than I could ask for in this cigar.  Very nice.  Would buy again, especially for $7.75.  Recommended for the smoker that likes a medium cigar with a slight kick.

Chooch Factor: Won’t turn any heads as it’s relatively unknown.  Introduce your friends to this cigar and you will be chooch-free.

Matt’s Rating: 7.0   –  It’s not going to blow you away, but it’s a solid cigar and won’t set you back very much.  Great unique flavors.  Might be good after a big feast when you have that craving for pumpkin pie!
